David Sewell is the President and owner of Sewelltech, Inc., an Apple Value Added Reseller based in Dallas, Texas. David founded Sewelltech in 1994 after graduating the Colorado Institute of Art with a degree in graphic arts and photography where his technical skills lead to being engaged to manage the computer labs. He was also awarded the highest honor given by the school, Portfolio par Excellence.
Over the past decade David has provided professional guidance in computer based graphics arts to such clients as Michaels, Dart, and Firehouse. And professional technical consulting to customers such as Half Price Books and Mary Kay.
David’s background as a photographer, and the attention to detail required to succeed in that field have informed his success in information technologies as well. David has stated, “You don’t take a photograph, you make it.” Which he has refashioned into, “You don’t solve a customer problem, you engage them.” David believes being active in the community an important part of being in business in the community and participates with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the North Texas Rabbit Sanctuary (NTRS) and other non-profit organizations.
