Michael Emmert

Michael Emmert Michael was raised in Frisco, TX. During High School, he began helping out in the Computer Lab when Frisco High School had gotten a grant to setup 15 new Apple II+ computers. During his Senior year in 1986, the FISD purchased 2 new Apple Macintosh Computers and Michael was given the task of teaching the teachers how to use them. The Macintosh was a radically new and different computer system that a whole new level of thinking, because it was so user friendly, something unheard of in the mid 1980s.

He then attended Texas A&M University @ Galveston where he worked for the school’s computer center and was put in charge of maintaing the PC & Mac computer center that was open to all students and faculty. After graduation, Michael spent a couple years working for a firm based in Houston, TX. With more computer knowledge than anyone else in the firm, he was tasked to setup 20 PCs around the country that the firm had purchased with no knowledge of what to use them for.

After leaving the firm in Houston in 1994, Michael joined Micro Center 3 months prior to opening their store in North Dallas. During the next 5 years, he gained valuable training and knowledge in selling and supporting Macintosh Computers. These were also known as the Dark Times for Apple. Even though Apple was close to disappearing, Michael had developed a loyal customer base and was one of the top Macintosh Salesmen at Micro Center.

In late 1998, a local Apple Reseller and Support Specialist approached Michael to come work for him in Fort Worth, TX. Michael worked for On-Site Sales & Service for the next 4 years supporting individual to enterprise customers. During this time, he was able to gain valuable skills supporting a wide range of environments, as well as a wide range of Mac hardware and software.

2002 saw a radical downturn in business at On-Site Service and soon the company shut its doors. Michael was fortunate enough to find employment with Sewelltech, Inc. After 13 years with Sewelltech and additional 8 years with Micro Center and On-Site Service, Michael has developed the skills, knowledge, and know how to address just about any challenge customers can throw at him.
