3. Do you use Apple branded parts?

Yes. All warranty repairs are done with parts shipped directly from Apple. Depending on availability, parts for out of warranty repairs may come from a third party supplier, but the parts are still Apple branded. Certain out of warranty repairs (hard drive replacements, RAM replacement) may use third party parts. In these cases, the parts are most likely available for a lower cost than the Apple parts and usually carry a better warranty.

11. Do you buy old Macs? What can I do with my old Mac?

No. Sewelltech does not buy old machines. We suggest donating your old Mac to a non-profit organization. Be aware that most organizations do not want to inherit problem machines. If your Mac isn’t working, don’t try to donate it. Also, if your Mac is older than 4 or 5 years, many organizations do not want them. They will be faced with the same dilemma of where to get rid of their older machines as well.
