One of the newest and oldest member of the team, Darryn didn’t begin his professional life in IT. After college and a short stint as a chemist, Darryn spent over 20 years as a firefighter in Washington, DC retiring in 2010. Several years later he re-entered the job market working at the Apple Store, Southlake for five years eventually advancing to an Apple Genius position.
Darryn has been happily married for over 22 years and has two grown children. An avid skier, thrill seeker and lover of the outdoors, he is always on the lookout for some excitement. “Never be afraid to be afraid” is his favorite motto.
“I enjoy people and initially loved working with customers and educating them on how to use their Apple devices. That enjoyment evolved to learning the inner workings of these devices. The more I learn the better I can be for our customers.”
Darryn holds numerous certifications for both Apple computers and iOS devices while continuing to expand that knowledge as new Apple devices come to market.
